Selling Two Family Homes

Knowledge of the prevailing market, comparable sales and potential buyers was spot on

“When our mother and grandmother passed away in close succession, my sister and I were assigned the difficult task of dismantling a lifetime of accumulated family memories for not one but two family homes…a painful and daunting exercise.

After several weeks of sorting and disposal we then had to prepare both homes for marketing. Mindful that both properties had fallen into disrepair and considering they image-1were side by side, we thought the combined properties may have potential as a development site.

Linda Coskerie was able to clarify the development potential issue, and advise on cost effective measures to prepare both properties for marketing. She and her staff also assisted in organising quotes for the works that needed to be carried out, and supervised various trades people. This advice saved a considerable amount of effort and money.

When we discussed the best way to list the properties, Linda was able to substantiate her reasoning behind the preparation for marketing, anticipated sales return, method of sale and her proposed targeted marketing programme. Then during the sales campaign, we were fully informed of what was happening every step of the way.

So when it was time to consider several offers for each of the properties, we were more than confident in making our final decision to sell, based on information given to us during the sales campaign.

Linda’s knowledge of the prevailing market, comparable sales, target market and marketing program was spot on. Given our personal experience in selling these properties under stressful circumstances, we were delighted with not only the final price, but the approach by both Linda and her team.” AF, Artarmon
